Favorite Inspirations
I get inspiration for my recipes and culinary adventures from all over. Sometimes, all it takes is stumbling upon one mouth-watering ingredient to really get your gears turning and start getting creative in the kitchen. But other times, you just need to turn to your old standards in order to spur your mind and cook up something delicious.
One of the first places I always turn to is my Delicious bookmark page, where I am constantly tagging recipes that I find interesting or want to try later.
Another favorite stop is my Google Reader RSS page, where I am always perusing my favorite posts from blogs like Fifteen Spatulas, The Little Cook Who Could, Clean Eating Chelsey, Simply Recipes, Smitten Kitchen, and a lot, lot more.
Here are a few of my favorite cookbooks for when you just want to read from a page, not a screen:
How To Cook Everything: Simple Recipes for Great Food
The Bacon Cookbook: More than 150 Recipes from Around the World for Everyone’s Favorite Food
Sunday Soup: A Year’s Worth of Mouth-Watering, Easy-to-Make Recipes
What are your favorite culinary inspirations?
