About me
My name is Mallory and I love to bake, cook, and eat. I have been working on Total Noms since December 2010 and have loved every second of it.
My POV about food is that anyone can make a delicious meal in a reasonable amount of time, regardless of the size of their kitchen. I am a young professional who works full-time, but that doesn’t mean I can’t spend some time having fun in the kitchen or out back on the grill when I can! The benefits of cooking are endless- unwind after a long day, control your own nutrition, and best of all- save money from not ordering takeout all the time!
I work at Showtime Networks in NYC, and live in Jersey City with my fiance and our cat, Meebo. I think this goes without saying, but nothing I say here is a reflection on my employer, although I bet they like good food too.
I also co-own the best cookie store on the internet, Mile End Bakery, with my fellow food blogger and McGill alumna Anya from Another GF Blog.

If you could pick one dish that would describe you the best, what would it be and why?
hmmm this is a tough one. I guess pizza. I really, really love pizza. It’s just like me: versatile, fun, delicious, can be made into a dessert, sliceable, tastes great cold…. wait what was I talking about?
This is for you: http://www.foodbuzz.com/recipes/2226945-blow-your-mind-brownie-nutella-mousse-pie-
Can you please make it and take lots of photos!!!
We both share the same interests love to cook, bake and eat. What made you decide to follow your passion?
Thanks for the note, Pam! I decided to start this blog because I wanted a way to be able to write more as well as explore new recipes for cooking and baking…. this was actually originally a New Years Resolution to get me to do all of these things at once! I am having so much fun and even though my resolution was to post 100 times in 2011… I’m already a quarter of the way there and its only the middle of February!
Hi Mallory! it was great meeting you last night! i have some ideas for the Food Bloggers Meetup…will send you an email about it separately
BTW, great job on your sweet potato pie!!!
Mallory, it was so nice meeting you yesterday! i look forward to reading your blog and attending more events!
I was just curious what kind of juicer you bought and if you would recommend it?
Hi Betsy, I got the Breville Juice Fountain Plus. It works great and is a great value- I’d definitely recommend it! The biggest pain about juicers is that you have to clean them after every use, but this one is pretty easy to clean and you can’t beat the price. Hope that helps! -Mallory
