HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE!
I hope 2013 was good to you and yours. Overall, it was wonderful for me- scattered with ups and downs, like any other year… but in the end, the ups overwhelmingly thumped the downs. For one thing, I got married. For another, I got MARRIED!!!! Ahem.
I am a big fan of New Year’s Eve, and the whole concept of resolutions in general. Even though I usually end up abandoning most of them in full or in part by the end of the year, there is something quite exciting about being on the cusp of something new.
In the spirit of preparing for a new year filled with hopes and dreams and great intentions, I’m sharing these bad-ass salted caramel chocolate tartlets over on Java Cupcake today, and just in time for your New Year’s Eve parties! No better time to indulge, before everyone sets in to their resolutions.
These tartlets are almost like a Twix bar- lovely shortbread crust; rich, deep chocolate ganache; and in the middle: homemade. salted. caramel. These are a delight for any party or occasion.
